Install Seller Desk

Xpress is the license. This is the printer. You need all three: QZ Tray, the Chrome extension, and a key from Xpress.

1. QZ Tray

  1. Install from qz.io/download (Mac or Windows).
  2. Open it. Leave it running while you print. Mac: menu bar. Windows: system tray.
  3. The first print may show an Allow prompt — click Allow only if Xpress signing is not on yet. With a valid Xpress key, prints should stay silent.

2. Chrome extension

  1. Download gvx-seller-desk-2.3.6.zip and unzip it. You need the folder, not the zip.
  2. Chrome → address bar → chrome://extensions
  3. Turn on Developer mode (top right).
  4. Load unpacked → select the unzipped Seller Desk folder (the one with manifest.json inside).
  5. Pin GVX Seller Desk. Click it → Open desk.

Chrome will warn that this is unpacked. That is expected until we list it in the Chrome Web Store.

3. Xpress key

  1. On xpress.grumpy-vet.com sign in with the account that paid.
  2. Copy Seller Desk key.
  3. Desk → paste → Save key.
  4. Keys last 24 hours. Copy a new one each show. If Xpress is revoked, yesterday’s key dies with the clock.

4. Printer

  1. 2×1 labels, landscape. iDPRT 410 and Polano are known working on TSPL raw.
  2. Desk → Find printers → pick yours. Leave Auto (TSPL or OS) unless Test print fails — then TSPL raw.
  3. Test print. If it feeds two labels or prints tiny, change rotation (180 / 0) and test again.
  4. Whatnot live tab in Chrome. Item in hand or Surprise set. Auto-print when you are ready.

Surprise Set tracker does not unlock printing. Overlay banners do not unlock printing. Xpress does.
